This is a soft and well-balanced wine from the south of France, where vignerons can produce great value, crowdpleasing Pinot Noir for half the price of the most basic Burgundies. Supple flavors of plum, chocolate, red berries, and spice are underpinned by a touches of floral earthiness. It is light-to-medium-bodied with a smooth finish. While it's great to drink on its own, it's also versatile with a wide range of foods.
