Shannon Ridge is a family-owned winery in the rugged hills of Lake County, just north of Napa. Owners Clay and Margarita Shannon are pioneers of sustainable mountain farming, tending high-elevation vineyards surrounded by oak and native wildlife. Lake County’s volcanic soils and dramatic day–night temperature swings produce small, intensely flavored Cabernet grapes. The Shannon family farms these vineyards using regenerative practices, encouraging biodiversity, cover crops, and minimal inputs. The result: naturally concentrated fruit that speaks of place, not manipulation.
