A harmonious blend of Tempranillo and Graciano, the 2018 Ijalba Crianza is a cherry red-colored, full-bodied wine. Aromas of dried fruit, dark plum, and toasted almond are accompanied by flavors of ripe red fruit, tobacco, and vanilla. As required of Crianza wines in Rioja, the wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, allowing the oakiness to permeate the wine and contributing to the silky texture. It has a long, lingering finish with velvety-smooth tannins.
