From high-altitude vines averaging over 60 years in age, Arzuaga Crianza captures the soul of Ribera del Duero. Crafted primarily from Tempranillo, with small portions of Cabernet Sauvignon (and Merlot in some vintages), the wine reflects its diverse soils: calcareous clay with limestone bedrock, alongside sandy, pebble-strewn plots.
Deep cherry-red with violet hues, it offers an aromatic tapestry of ripe blackberries, red currant, and dark cherry layered with notes of clove, balsamic herbs, cedar, and roasted coffee. The palate is powerful yet refined: concentrated fruit framed by polished tannins, a supple texture, and a long, persistent finish. Sixteen months in French and American oak lend subtle spice and elegance without overshadowing the fruit.
A Crianza of depth and finesse, equally suited for immediate enjoyment or cellaring. Perfect with roasted meats, game, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
